The LM1084 and LM1085 are high output current linear positive voltage regulators with a typical dropout of 1.3V and maximum dropout of 1.5V at maximum load current and over the entire junction temperature range (-40÷125°C). Two fixed voltages: 3.3V and 5.0V are available. Both devices contain current limiting and thermal shutdown circuitry. The pin-out is the same as industry standard LM317.
Applications: switching DC/DC converters, battery chargers.
