Voltage monitors for power-fail detection from:

DS1812 DS1813 DS1818

The DS1812, DS1813 and DS1818 are simple voltage monitor circuits designed for use in 5V-or 3V-powered microprocessor systems. When Vcc falls below a factory-trimmed threshold the RESET signal is asserted. This prevents the microprocessor from unpredictable behaviors during undervoltage conditions. The maximum time interval between power-fail detection and generating the RESET signal is about 5µs. When Vcc returns to an in-tolerance condition, the RESET signal is kept in the active state for approximately 150ms to allow the power supply and processor to stabilize.

The DS1813 and DS1818 also monitor a pushbutton on the RESET output, generating a RESET when the pushbutton is released. After the pushbutton is released the RESET remains active for about 150ms in order to eliminate the contact bounce effect. Please see detailed features in the table below.
