ISO1500DBQ integrated circuit from Texas Instruments

Micros offer has been extended with the Texas Instruments ISO1500DBQ integrated circuit.
It is a RS-422 / RS-485 interface system with a half duplex communication system, enclosed in a 4.9 x 3.9 mm SSOP-16 enclosure. In accordance with the UL 1577 standard, it provides galvanic isolation up to 3 kV rms (1 min.) and transmission speed up to 1 Mbps, between the communication bus and the logic interface. 

The advantages of ISO1500DBQ are sizes that significantly reduce the space required on the circuit board. In addition, the device has a wide communication range and provides galvanic separation of the loop between the primary and secondary circuits, which allows operation in a wide range of summation voltages. ISO1500DBQ is also resistant to overfilling pulses with a rise rate of at least 100 kV / µs.
The product works in the temperature range from -40°C to + 125°C. The supply voltage is from 1.71 V to 5.5 V.
