Micros an official representative of the Megawin Technology
When we choose an appropriate microcontroller for a project, foremost we tend to look at all available functions, efficiency and the energy demand. When the project proceeds to the production stage, the cost of each component becomes more important. In order to meet the clients expectations, Taiwanese company Megawin Technology offers components which are compatible with other manufacturers’ solutions. These components are also often characterised by better parameters, being more affordable at the same time.
Megawin Technology, with whom we started cooperation, was established in 1999 by a group of specialists in the design and sale of integrated circuits. Over the years, they established cooperation with such brands as Asus®, LiteOn® or Logitech®. Thanks to continuous development actions, their microcontrollers offer is constantly expanded. Recently, the MGEQ1C064AD48 circuit has been added to the offer, it meets the stringent manufacturing requirements and obtained the AEC-Q100 (Grade 2) qualification.
Megawin Technology offer primarily consists of 8-bit and 32-bit microcontrollers based on the 8051, Cortex M0 and Cortex M3 cores. It is worth pointing out that in the case of microcontrollers based on the Cortex M0 core, the manufacturer offers three versions of these devices: Base Line, USB Line and Value line. The Base Line version is a basic version of circuits from this family. The USB Line has been enriched with the USB 2.0 interface working at a 12 Mb/s rate, compliant with the USB v.1.1/2.0 specification (MG32F03U064/MG32F03U064), while the Value Line includes circuits available in small TSSOP20/QFN32 housings (MG32F03V032).
In Megawin’s offer there are available circuits that are compatible with the STM components in terms of housing and pinout diagram (pin to pin). These circuits, among others, are: MG82F6B001AS8, MG32F103C9T6, MG32F103CBT6, MG32F103RBT6, MG32F104RCT6.
