Mornsun's new R3 non-isolated DC-DC converters
Our offer includes a broad range of DC/DC converters manufactured by Mornsun. Two new series of K78xx-500R3 non-isolated DC-DC converters have been added into our portfolio – a 15.24 x 8.5 x 8.25 mm sized SMD packaged units and very thin SMD modules of a 12.5 x 13.5 x 3.5 mm size.
Mornsun's R3 DC-DC converters are state-of-the-art units that have improved most of the parameters responsible for conversion efficiency under all conditions (compared to R2 products), extended protection circuits to ensure high operational reliability, and rebuilt the controller to provide good dynamic parameters.
The K78xx-500R3 series is designed as a pin compatible replacement for the popular 78xx series of linear voltage regulators. Their features include: high efficiency of up to 95%, low no-load current of 0. 2 µA, output current of 500 mA, and a wide range of operating temperature - from -40°C to +85°C. The converters also feature built-in short-circuit protection and compliance with the EN62368 standard for the safety of electrical and electronic equipment.
