A DMX signal amplifier receives a signal from the main (Master) controller and then retransmits the DMX voltage signal, following the standard DMX signal, to subsequent groups of subordinate (Slave) controllers. It is mainly used to extend the DMX signal over longer distances, increasing DMX control capabilities.
