RBS07 is an affordable mercury-free sensor designed to detect a 45° tilt across a full 360° range, as well as to detect the "upside-down" position of an object. The sensor functions as a normally closed switch, whose contacts open when a tilt occurs within the range of 30° ... 60°. It provides durability of 100,000 electrical cycles and 1,000,000 mechanical cycles. The contact rating is 10mA/5VDC, the contact impedance is 10Ω max, the insulation resistance is 50MΩ min. @ 100VDC, and the dielectric strength is 50VDC for 1 minute. It is produced in a package suitable for through-hole or surface-mount installation, available in versions designed for horizontally or vertically oriented PCBs.
