Detailed description
A fast (instruction execution time: 200ns) and easy-to-program (only 35 instructions) 8-bit microcontroller made in CMOS Flash technology, based on the PIC architecture, housed in an 18-pin package.
Compatible with PIC16F628, PIC16C62XA, PIC16C5X, and PIC12CXXX series devices.
It features, among other things, an integrated 4MHz oscillator, 128B of EEPROM data memory, PWM (capture/compare) functions, USART, two comparators, and a programmable voltage reference source. It is ideal for applications in automotive, industrial, and consumer devices.
Selected Features:
- 2046 words of Flash program memory, programmable in-circuit
- 128 bytes of EEPROM data memory
- 224 bytes of RAM memory
- Low-voltage programming
- Integrated 4MHz and 48kHz oscillators
- Programmable Brown-out Reset (BOR)
- Timers: 2x8-bit, 1x16-bit
- ICD (In-Circuit Debugger)
- 16 I/O lines
