Detailed description
The REF02 circuit is a precision series band-gap voltage reference (thermally compensated), offering stable voltage, a wide input voltage range, low noise, and low power consumption. The output voltage can be adjusted within ±6% (±300mV) for REF02, which does not significantly affect temperature stability – a voltage change of 100mV corresponds to a stability change of 0.7ppm/°C.
REF02 includes a TEMP output, where the voltage depends on the temperature, allowing the circuit to be used as a temperature sensor. The circuit can also be used to build a precision current source.
Example applications:
- A/D and D/A converters,
- high-precision measuring instruments,
- portable equipment.
