LM2703 is a pulse-width modulation (PWM) inductor-based boost converter operating in constant off-time mode, designed for powering white LEDs. It features a built-in NMOS switch transistor with a 350mA current rating and a resistance of 0.7Ohm. It operates with input voltages ranging from 2.2V to 7V and can achieve a maximum output voltage of 20V, with energy efficiency reaching up to 80%. It has a fast transient response, allowing the use of miniature passive components. The device can operate in shutdown mode, typically consuming 0.01uA of current. It also includes an under-voltage lockout (UVLO) function. The LM2703 is enclosed in a miniature SOT23 package with 5 pins. It is designed for applications in LED-backlit LCD panels. With a single lithium-ion battery supply, it can drive up to four white LEDs.
