Detailed description

The MPXV5004DP is a piezoresistive pressure sensor used for differential pressure measurement in the range of 0 to 3.92kPa (0 to 400 mm H2O). The output voltage is directly proportional to the applied pressure from 1.0V to 4.9V. The sensor is equipped with a temperature compensation (over 10°C to 60°C), calibration and signal conditioning circuitry. The sensor's maximum total error over the compensated temperature range is 1.5% for 0 to 100 mm H2O pressure range and 2.5% for 100 mm to 400 mm H2O range. The sensor operates with a 4.75V to 5.25V power supply and it is specified over the temperature range of 0°C to +85°C.

The MPXV5004DP is ideally suited for applications employing a microcontroller with integrated A/D converter. It is available in a durable thermoplastic (PPS) surface mount package.
