Compact 480VAC SSR Relay

The KSD480D5-L is a single-phase solid state relay (SSR) designed for switching single-phase AC loads up to 480VAC and 5A current. The Zero Crossing function reduces electromagnetic interference and inrush currents by switching the load close to the moment when the AC voltage crosses zero, helping to reduce electrical stress during operation and potentially extending the service life of the connected load. The relay is controlled by a 4-15VDC input voltage and provides 4000VACrms input-to-output isolation. It can be used with PLCs, control modules and microcontrollers (provided that the required input control current is ensured). The compact PCB-mount housing and operating temperature range from -30°C to +80°C make it suitable for industrial and commercial applications. The maximum load current depends on cooling conditions, ambient temperature, and the mounting method. When operating at full load, adequate heat dissipation must be ensured.
