THT Inductors – high filtration efficiency in a compact package

The RLB series inductive chokes manufactured by Bourns are high-quality through-hole (THT) components designed for use in power supply, filtering, and signal circuits. Models designated RLB0912 and RLB0914 belong to the same product family but differ slightly in dimensions and electrical parameters – the RLB0914 version is larger and allows operation with higher currents and inductance values. They are wire-wound on a ferrite core and feature an unshielded construction, making them lighter and easier to mount while providing excellent current-inductance characteristics. These inductors are characterized by high manufacturing quality, temperature stability, and parameter consistency, which are especially important in high-reliability applications.
Type and Construction:
- Models from the RLB0912 and RLB0914 series are through-hole (THT) wire-wound inductors on ferrite cores.
- The RLB0914 type is larger than the RLB0912 and covers a wider inductance range, while the current ratings depend on the specific model.

- Low DC resistance (DCR)
- Rated current range: approx. 0.4 A to > 4.5 A
- High self-resonant frequency and strong core saturation resistance
